G'day Ladies and Gents, First time post-er.... Long time reader. Ive got a problem with my VS State-O that i was wondering if i could get some help with. Ive noticed a clunking noise while driving the past few weeks so i finally got around to lookin at it. I took it for a test drive and worked thru the gears and it appears as its only in the top end of 1st - as i let my foot of the accelerator. I also noticed that it only happens during aggressive acceleration (around 4000-5000) Ive always thought it was coming from within the drivetrain somewhere. Could it be prehaps the uni joints? i got in under the car and tried shaking/moving the tailshaft but there didnt appear to be any give?
