hi everyone hows things?
just a quick drama with my clubby. At times im getting a clunking sound from underneath the car. Examples would be when im under power in say.. second gear and a slow ford driver gets in my way, and i have to back of power suddenly then "clunk". Sometimes it happens if i do a particularly snappy gear change ( car is the 6speed) or downshifting.
The sound is similar to when a diff is going but the car hasnt done any burnouts so im doubtful this is the problem.
If anyone has any ideas id be glad to hear them

cheers

Sounds like maybe the rubber doughnuts that sit near your diff and near your gearbox. I say one of those is faulty. Also check the bolts that bolt the tailshaft to the rubber doughnuts at each end. I have heard of them becoming loose or even breaking off that can cause this noise.
