Hey guys, pulled my t5 out and want to clean it before converting my vp. Would I use degreaser in a can (eg from super cheap) or somewhere else? Wouldnt mind spraying or flat black also but is it worth spraying? As you can't see it basically...

I'm looking at buying an exedy heavy duty clutch kit, but not fussed if I throw in a standard gm one for now. Haven't really found any on eBay (very difficult navigating on my phone). Just want to know the cheapest place/price from which people have shopped around. Cheers

degreaser in a can and a pressure washer, don't pressure wash at the input shaft and force water through the seal or the shifter and put the tailshaft/yoke into place on the output and clean away
unless you clean, scrub it and prep it properly no point painting, it'll just flake off, the alloy is actually porous to an extent so you'll be there for ever getting it right so the paint sticks.
