Hi, my VY II S Ute has developed a creaking noise whenever i push the clutch in or out - it sounds like a big creaky spring. What could be causing it?
i just put a bit of silicon spray on the clutch pedal spring as one of the mechanics in town recommended that i try that. I got the brother to pump the clutch whilst i had it jacked up and it seems the sound's coming from within the gearbox - roughly around the bit that says GETRAG. does this mean the clutch is a bit #$%&ed? I had contemplated going twin plate in the future, but not after 600km's after buying it...
The noise WAS coming from the front part of the gearbox where the clutch is. Took it to the dealers to fix and apparently all it needed was a bit of grease somewhere
