Car: 1996 VS Senator 185i
Build Number: 588
Colour: Cherry Black w/silver inserts
Bodykit: Stock
Wheels: Factory 17" VS Senator wheels w/235/45/17 Falken rubber
Suspension: FE2
Engine: 5 litre V8 (304)
KM's: 158,XXX
Exhaust: HSV headers into a factory cat, single 3" mild steel pipe into a single 3" hot dog into resinator into twin 2.5" polished flat edge tips
Transmission: Stock T700
Interior: Devonish seats / Flinders trim, everything else in there is factory.
Stereo: Factory 6" splits up front, Alpine Type 'S' 6" speakers in the rear, Alpine head unit (nothing fancy, i'm over stereo's)
HSV Factory options: Immobiliser switch in centre console lid (bloody annoying), factory 2 way sunroof.
Other mods: Kalmaker realtime computer upgrade/ dyno tune, factory OTR CAI with K&N flat panel filter slightly modified intake snorkel, 70MM polished throttle body painted fuel tank, painted engine covers.
Power: Currently with a Kalmaker ECU upgrade with a dyno tune it's on 141.1rwkw
Future plans: Supercharge it (HAHA, nah, not really, that's what everyone says though lol). I put $700 a week away in my savings for when the missus gets back from overseas we can buy our unit, so don't really have mass amounts to spend on it. Whack a set of Pacemaker extractors on it eventually (had a set but sold them a while back and put the cash away), get some really sticky tyres for the rear, and replace the shocks and springs all round with Bilstein or Whiteline gear then chuck front and rear swaybars and strut braces in to stiffen it up.
Only problem i have ever had with it in the now 12 months i have owned it was it needed a new distributer. That's all. It runs like a dream, doesn't miss a beat. About to fit a new oxy censor (old one works, but i'd imagine it's the original one). It gets serviced religiously every 5000 km's with a major service every 10,000 km's, trans and diff service every 10,000 km's too (it's a bit pedantic, but better to keep it all maintained than have it stuff up on me).
