    Sold my car :(
Thanks for the information in this forum. My wh caprice is giving out code
P0523 - Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit High Voltage
And there is a oil leak from the rear of the engine. I checked it out and it is not the rear main seal. Also there is no oil pressure light on the dash and oil level is good. I was thinking that the oil is leaking from the sensor on the LS1. Is that the fault and is thats why its giving code. I can see the oil drip sometimes from underneath. The car runs really good no problems.

The P0523 is detected when the signal sent from oil pressure sensor to PCM goes above specifications. The most likely cause is a faulty oil pressure sensor/switch.
