Hi, went over to see my sons VZ, following reports of poor engine idle & performance

Started it and went to drive it home, where I can work on it, but idle died and it wont restart

has thrown codes 0351 and 0353, which states coil pack A and C on my reader

My intention is to replace them, but I didnt think this should cause a NO START ??

Which ones are A and C ?

all fixed...dont run fuel level down to 16km ...told him that countless times, added 10 litres

scanner indicated A & C coilpacks and O2 sensor (powertrain light been on for a while)

I established by disconnecting harness plugs, then swapping coils, No 3 coilpack (or sparkplug) is culprit

$20 from nearby wrecker, cleared fault codes with my Torque scanner

Not only has it cleared ALL fault codes and lights, but the engine is idling unbelievably smooth

much better than before the No 3 coilpack failed obviously

I also checked the earth wire from those coils to the back of the head

previously the O2 sensor code & powertrain light would return immediately upon restart

all spark plugs changed about ~35k ago
