ppls opion on pod or cold air?
i have a vs ute with a cold air intake kn filter and a 69mm ported and polished throttle body.
souns good has good throttle response as fair as power increase.. its hard to say.. maybe a small amount.. going to buy msd coil packs soon sould help a bit.. and get a tune.

the only issues i have with the pod is that is sucking the hot air from the engine.. and colder air has more oxygen....

issues with the cold air is that although cold air is getting sucked in.. the plastic pipes still get very hot? is it better getting steel pipe work?
i also thought about insulating the pipe work? i dunno
    what have other ppl done?

i aslo no that the corrigated pipe used creates a disturbance in the air flow and getting a smooth pipe helps.. does any one know wher ei can get one of these?
im also thinking of getting my brother who does engineering to make me up a scoop that bolts above the head light and can hold a pod filter... so its kinda of a pod filter that sucks more air than a pannel and acts as a cold air coz its traps the air that runs under the bonnet... im pretty sure the set up is used on vz and vys

just kinda want to know ppls opinion and what they have done and wat has worked..
