When i start my calais when it is cold it does not want to idle properly it sounds like the automatic choke doesn't work (if there is one lol) i have recently replaced plugs and leads but its still doing it.
It doesn't have a choke, it has and idle air control vale (IAC) and it could probably do with a clean.
It is on the throttle body and it looks like the image below, except the pointy part won't be visible. Remove it from throttle body and clean it with some petrol. While your at it you could clean the inside of the throttle body with throttle body cleaner, it should make a bit of a difference to how it runs. The throttle body is the thing that the accelerator cable connects to and it has a large tube which goes to the air box.
