ive posted this befoe but people have just told me colours like white. im soon gonna be painting my car and i wondering what colours i should change it to, if could show me samples. like pictures or colour codes so i can look them up. thanks and its a 91 VP commodore
I like the alpine white which is stock on my car... Put a blue or purple pearl over it, and it looks sweet ....
dude paint it the colour of blueprint its what i painted my vp. its basically a metallic blue, its on the ba xr's
i would like to go to white but theres a few problems, i live near a coal terminal and theres tons of coal dust everywhere and 2, i also live near QAL ( Queensland Alumina. so everything gets covered in orange dirt aswell. so if i went white i would be like washing it every week.
White with an orange pearl the... Will go great with the dust... :lol: ... Hmm... With all the dust and stuff, maybe a silver would be better...

Yeah have not got a pic... But what you need to do is base spray the car in the white.. Then mix an orange pearl into the clear, and spray over the top ... It may not have been done before, but call into any spray painter and ask them if they can do you up a sample...
sounds like you need to move house.. i live on a dirt road. the other day i washed and polished my rx4 (929) and with in an hour it was dirty. just from people driving past..
i think that hot house green looks sweet on older commodores, as does panther mica and tiga mica. heres hothouse and tiga, if you dont know what they are (panther mica is black - so i wont bother with a pic). *edit: dont ask me why they are both wagons, i just googled the colours and they were the first i found.

here is a pic. it is the only one i could get to come up properly that showed the hole car. from memory i reckon it looked almost maroon in some pics.. i like it anyways
