cometic head gasket for pre-ecotec

Just for peoples reference the Cometic part number for vn-vr v6's is C5691. They are available in both .040 and .065" at a price of $156 each just like MattVP said.

They guy I spoke to said not to use hylomar on the gaskets as they are already coated with something called viton. Has anyone had experience with these before?

Gaskets arrived, ordered them Tuesday and they arrived Thursday. Thats pretty darn good from QLD to SA.

Looks like they have some extra holes etc, but i guess there to suit the other model V6's. I laid my existing copper one over the top and everything seems to line up. Hope to fit them over the weekend.
