Well actually... the saying 1/4 panel comes from the four quarters being the front guard, front door, back door and the rear guard, commonly referred to the 1/4 panel, which is the rear 1/4 panel as opposed to the front 1/4 panel.
But yeah, nobody says I need a front 1/4 panel.

Funny how a two door car still has a rear 1/4 panel, it should be a 1/3 panel...
