Commodore VE MY9.5 Engine Power

Hi Everyone

Sorry this might sound as a stupid question but while reading a lot of blogs and manuals i discovered that the LY7 engine produces around 190Kw atleast for any car it is put in.


My Car : Holden Commodore MY9.5 VE International.
I have the following questions:
does my Car whose Engine Number starts with LY709--------- has an LY7 engine ?
If yes then what is the power for the car ?
I keep getting confusing answers, if someone can clear this out it would be helpful..

An MY9.5 International would be 175KW, if MY9.5 you would have single exhaust and 4 speed auto transmission. A pre SIDI VE SV6 would be 195 Kw. The 190 Kw version was in VZ SV6 and Calais with 5 speed auto.
