I believe the 15.8 time. I have been drag racing my car since I got it at WSID. Its a VR V6 Acclaim automatic bought it when it was stock.

When car was stock = 15.99
    added custom 2.5 inch exhaust & K&N Pod = 15.67
    added 3.91 diff ratio = 15.42
    added Stage 3 Crow Cam + stage 2 shift kit = 14.78

This is at WSID not those Gtech POS!

Can't remember the mph when the car wa stock. I think is was 87mph.
My best mph is 95.00mph on the dot

    Road test Update

Since this thread has been re-opened, I thought that I would add the Motor acceleration figures for a VS Manual versus the XR6 in 1996. Granted that the VS has more power and torgue than the VR, but it shows a difference that might be applicable.

    ....................VS..........XR6

    0 - 10...........0.52........0.58
    0 - 20...........0.92........1.04
    0 - 30...........1.42........1.50
    0 - 40...........1.97........1.95
    0 - 50...........2.57........2.52
    0 - 60...........3.36........3.68
    0 - 70...........4.47........4.45
    0 - 80...........5.56........5.26
    0 - 90...........6.55........6.16
    0 - 100.........7.68........7.86
    0 - 110.........9.87........9.20
    0 - 120.......11.38.......10.47
    0 - 130.......13.27.......12.09
    0 - 140.......15.54.......13.79
    0 - 150.......16.82.......15.89

    0 - 400m.....15.74.......15.37

Fekason has shown us that the Commodore upto 100km/h will win, but after 100km/h the Ford will take lead, but the maximum legal speed in Australia (States, not sure about NT) is 110km/h, so the Commodore has the better advantage, with less power and torque.

remember those figures are for the XR6 not the "standard" falcon, so u've got pretty good odds :)

this is how I predict the race to go if both cars are in fairly decent condition. and both are close to equal drivers.

    Take off same time

60kph - Commodore infront by 1 car length
    100kph - Commodore infront by 1/2 a car length
150kph - Falcon infront by 1 car length.

A few years ago I owned a stock VR and my dad owned a stock EF this was the result, when my car was stock.

The funny thing is My dad has a BA XR8 260KW now and I have my VR V6 N/A fully modded and the results are exactly the same I'm infront off the start to 120kph he pulls even at 130kph and pulls away at 150kph. lol

Wait til my dad goes in my modded WRX when its done in a few months. My dad still doesn't understand the potential of turbo cars he has no idea. All he asks me and my friends when they bring the cars over and he sees them is what size motor is in the car. If he is told 2 litre he goes it wont go that good it would be slow.

I can't wait to race him when my new WRX is done. I want to see his face when I beat his 260KW XR8 car by around 15-20 car lengths to 160kph. :) :)

BA XR8's are pretty crap, the XR6T, much better. Thats good results from the VR.

Yeah I know. I don't bother anymore with XR6 Turbos they are too quick stock, I rather save petrol and keep my pride than try and take on one of those beasts. I raced one XR6 turbo, believe it or not I was infront up to 100kph then when I hit 3rd, I stopped accelerating and he only just started. He flogged me after 100kph.
