check this video out its the vcm 12 cam which is 227˚ 227 .598" .598" 112˚ this is a manual but would work fine in the auto aswell, was only cat back exhaust and maby intake i think and it was tuned to have a choppier idle after that sounded tough as... and also a senator with a 232 234 cam and manifold full exhaust and stall that sounded good but even with the bigger cam and manifold still didnt make as much as the smaller cam but could have been small difference between auto/manual, but still big isnt always better u need to get the right combination so everything works together...

Yea.. but to pick up good power form a small cam it isn't easy / often too see. and it depends on every car gain variety power. for that Auto one it only run 31x kw i think its due to stall converter, i have heard that stall converter take off some power when run dyno.. but it actually more than what you see.... am i correct?
I used to drive a VE SSV with 222/224 fitted + Full 3" Exhaust and made 295kw at the wheel, and it doesn't sounds as good as i though and 295kw just not really that quick, also this cam kick in maybe around 1xxx or 2000 rpm with stock converter but feel like pig before the cam kick in.. so am try to find a better cam to fit on my LS3 and try to make good sound and even better power over 300kw at the wheel, don't mind use reasonable stall converter (not above 3000) if needed.

Not really. Comp cams suggest its for up to 6.2L
Mine is 6.3L, but it makes power up to 7200rpm. Which is perfect for my current setup.

Why not go a bigger stall than 3000?
I find a high stall auto more fun than a manual.

Had a manual with my old setup. Got sick of it. For daily driving I think its rubbish.
I'm also very keen on 1/4 mile racing it. So a manual just isn't any good for me. Went to a T400 auto.

Mine is a LS1. Went from 5.7L 346ci to 6.3L 383ci.

manual as daily drive, that's quite hard..
Auto runs 1/4 miles quicker than a manual?
But manual pull more power than an Auto due to gear ratio? , so if you went from manual to a T400 auto, then power will stay the same or as other auto will reduced?

Bigger isn't always better ...

Making power at 6000+ is over rated.
