COMPLETE iPod Intergation into VE Commodores

I purchased a similar unit from this same seller (Vlad) for my VZ Calais last year. I can tell you that it works brilliantly and exactly as described.

I recommend this product to anyone who has an iPhone, iPod, iPad and wants full functionality in their VE or even VZ (see below).

I am in WA and I had Ant (wrx884) install my iPod kit into my VZ Calais. Ant (wrx884) is also the WA contact person for full dash lighting upgrades. If you are in WA and you buy this kit, PM Ant and see if he can help you with the install.

Private Message Ant (wrx884). He installed my VZ iPod interface and should be able to do the VE unit. Obviously it will not be free of charge like the ebay listing states for Melbourne residents, but it's worth paying for installation to get this interface kit and keep the factory look and functionality

I just watched this whole video.... holy crap!
This guy is going to be a millionaire! Full iPod integration.... steering wheel controls, instrument cluster readout, full titles/song info...... FULL FULL FULL integration.

I'm getting one as soon as funds permit 100%. Great post/find OP, this is exactly what A LOT of ve owners have been looking for. Inventor is going to be rich beatch .

I wonder if we can get a group buy discount for justcommodores members???

 

Will keep on watching that website for when it's available for the ssv, definately will be getting that.

Why wait for a group buy to save a few small dollars? If you want it, just buy it I say. Plus, there would be no need for the designer of the product (Vlad) to discount as there is no competition, and this is quite unique and cheap for what you are getting.

The head units do vary from Omegas to Caprices.

I have just had a return email back from the designer (Vlad) and he said that the higher spec model compatibility is his next project.

It also says on his website;
"Q4: Will the interface work with all Holden VE radio models?

A4: The first version will only work with the radio models with external LCD screen. Later on I plan to redesign it for the models with colour screen radios (Calais and Statesman)."

Vlad has been selling the VZ iPod interface for years now. This is just the compatible version for the VE's. My VZ unit works a treat.

 

Ditto when it works for the Berlina. Should be the same time...
