soo.. my tacho comes in this morning, I had a look about 5 minutes ago behind the dash (I took the instrument cluster out), and checked the plug for tacho.. looked at the wires going to the plug..

WTF?!

Look at the back of ur Cluster on the Printed Circuit Board!

Wires should be numbered & says what there for :)

I had a monster tacho in my VN. Nobody called it rice because the car was manual and ran 12.80 on street tyres haha

It is possible to need one in an auto, especially if the auto has been manualised...

awesome, i wish my street tyres would actually grip the street enough to make good numbers. how did you go about that?

It would hook up on the street no worries, had 18s and a minispool which probably helped hehe If I wanted to fry the tyres that was easy too. Basically all came down to throttle control as to what you wanted to do :D
