ive never had pins bend or fall out, The pins i use are designed forthis use and are bloody tight in the "car side" of the plug with no movement at all.

I will admit, when it comes to Alarms, i solder.

Headunits are the ONLY time i use pins as it is company policy as we offer Free Removal of the system and refit of stock units if the car is to be sold.

anyone installed a sony xav-c1 I find it just hits my heater box at the rear and had to tilt it on a funny angle with the 400m of cables that come with the HU
