Constantly going through front wheel bearings

Hey all,

Just asking if anyone would know why my vx executive s2 would be constantly going through front wheel bearings. It's mainly the passenger side.

Please help.

are you using genuine or cheap ebay made in china bearings
do you tighten your wheel nuts in steps and offsets eg 1,3,5,2,4 finger tight, then repeat hand tight , then repeat a bit tighter, then repeat at full torque
do you drive like a p-plater

genuine Machter bearings. always tighten wheel nuts in steps and offset.

The wheel bearing hubs are a sealed unit, if they keep failing than I'd suggest they are faulty, I'd try a different supplier assuming of course you've had a wheel alignment done and everything is pointing where it should be.

i cant find any quality shops that stock them
they dont seem oem to me

There is probably a reason why these ones are worth 4x more than the Chinese specials that you've been buying.

The brand is Machter and yes genuine Machter branded bearing but not HOLDEN Genuine as lowandslow mentioned

it's like saying Fantastic Furniture genuine couch

Is a company that makes a couch but doesn't mean its a Holden genuine couch

You get the drift
You get what ya pay for

As for wheel alignment, if its true and proper then shouldn't be a problem and think you should buy genuine Holden bearings first seeing as you having issues with the brand you bought

Get a refund if you can
