Just reading about a member that has the Contact Dealer Error come to screen,

Here is something to ponder !
So what will that mean in a few years when all the Holden Dealers have vanished,
Cant contact a dealer when their isn't one !

So the Aussies are stuck with a Billion Dollar Baby and no support in the future,
I gather there will be people that will be able to assist, and/or hack the systems,
Maybe there might be a few ex: GM Techs will be able to make a few $'s
Because the general service centre's are not familiar with the In's and Outs of the VE's & VF's.

I think Holden [as we know it now] should provide all the details so repairs can be done efficiently, and cost effective, since they have pulled to pin on the Aussie's.

Your thoughts are most welcome, positive and/or negative .
Long Live Holden & Commodore, Amen ;)

the "contact dealer" just pops up with everything so anyone that dosnt know about cars thinks they have to go to the dealer to fix it, its just a service grab, BUT what i think is holden will sell all there info to the highest bidder maby like Bosch service or something like that

we pulled thepin on them more than they pulled it on us. for years people have been buying cars like hyundai, greatwall, ,cherry, tata etc because theyre new and cheap. instead of supporting in-country built products, we paid them off. we allowed competitors to come in and undercut them.

gm has no interest in supporting a small market that chooses not to make it worthwhile for them. why should they? just saying.

You might be right but they still have pulled the plug on the people that have supported them and not to mention the millions of dollars of tax payers money they got from the government

All we have are the factory manuals and Tech2's and equivalent diagnostic tools. VF had a different tool again?
