i was wondering if the standard seat frame in a VE omega(series 1)that has no lumbar support mechanism can be easily converted to have it, any info would be great. I assume that the holes in the frame are there already and that all i would have to do is cut a hole in the foam back rest, and also can i use the mechanism from the drivers side. Thanks

but that is what i am trying to avoid, i have bought new covers for the seats and the only ones available now are the ones with the hole for the lumbar support i can get the lumbar support mechanism and would prefer to modify my own seat as that is a lot cheaper.

be interesting to know, maybe someone who's torn one down would know all the differences to the internals.

The answer is yes all you need is the lumbar support from another seat(must be passenger side)
