Converting a Statesman...

Hey guys,
Just curious, i have never seen a manual statesman, people musn't want one. Is it possible to convert one?? Fixing the centre console and making it look good would be one of the hardest bits....any answers??

Yeah someone on this forum has done it. I'm pretty sure it was to a VS Stato or Caprice..

I have seen a few manual VQ statesman and a VS Caprice manual, it is a relativley simple conversion done over a weekend. The centre console you just have a custom insertion made

with the centre console wouldnt u just get a vn one for the vq staty, or even a man one for wot ever model ur doin ?

They dont match the rest of the console then, costs about $180 to have a custom one made that looks 110%
