Hey experts, posting a thread here (not sure if it’s the right place per se) just to ask about converting a factory manual VY ecotec to L67 top swap Manual. With a healthy gearbox and a motor due for a top end rebuild and plenty of time up my sleeve to play around I’d be interested to hear how others have accomplished this task.
Additional info, healthy Getrag box, healthy 3.08 differential, new tail shaft, centre bearing and cv shafts. Will be removing motor for too swap, bottom end inspection, spigot and release bearing replacement and top end rebuild (lifters pushrods rockers etc).
Bearing all this in mind, any advice that can be offered would be appreciated!
