I only added the manual clutch pedal (and cut down auto brake pedal width). Used the clutch gasket as a template and just drilled holes in existing firewall/plate based off measurements to other bolts.
Still have auto console/shifter surround, didn't know there was a difference to manual. Looks fine imo.

Need manual gearbox crossmember which someone mentioned.
Can't remember about driveshaft length & no idea about rhd vs lhd pedals

I've been around the block a few times too, but in my case, these are the few parts I have problems with:

I'm looking for: / Got to call it:
Hood / Bonnet
Trunk / Boot
Fender / Guard
Bumper Cover / Bar
Windshield / Windscreen
Truck Bed / Tray (or is it Tub?)
Transmission / Gearbox
Tires / Tyres

Thank God a tailgate is called a tailgate, lol...
Oh, and can't forget aluminum is aluminium....

You maybe right. But l'm an old bastard. To me, thats like calling a door a wheel. (very rough example :))
If l'm looking for a door, thats what l'm looking for. If l'm looking for a wheel, thats what l'm looking for. ;)
Maybe it’s called a console because you will need consoling when you find out the price!

Based on all the info you guys have provided, I think I'm going to proceed. First, looking for parts in Oz. Fortunately, I have some connections there and made some very good friends.

And reprogramming is not an issue. I do my own work in this area.

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
We discussed the pedals. LHD and RHD are arranged the same.

I received more encouraging news today. The Chevy SS, or VF Commodore WAS made in 6-speed manual, and parts are still available. And if that's not good enough, I also heard the pedal assemblies, etc from a 2010 - 2017 ish Camaro work also. Sweet..!

The 2010 Camaro used the same platform as the VE Commodore so that make sense. Just be aware that the VFs (Chevy SS) used dual mass flywheels as well as the later VEs (post 2013 I think) so if you do get a gearbox from a VF you will need to use the same DMF and clutch setup, or get a DMF delete package with a solid flywheel, clutch and I think a spacer for the slave cylinder as well.

Looking good for the conversion! Keep at it, & you will get there. :)
