Hi

I’ve recently flushed my coolant out and replaced with nulons long life..
After a couple days of driving, I had noticed a coolant leak, changed the water pump gaskets which looked fukt, but the leak is still there, it only leaks when it’s cold and not under pressure, seems like it is coming from behind the power steering pump and dripping down the water pump and flicking everywhere, the worst part is it’s leaking onto my alternator!!!
Anyone have any advice??? Plz plz plz

Have a look at the back of the coolant outlet housing, common leak spot.

There is a few YouTube vids showing how to do it. Easy enough.

So ripped it all off, cleaned it all up with emery cloth shmiko, put a gasket sealer specific for water pumps etc
Tightened it up evenly, still leaking...
But only leaking when cold, doesn’t leak when it’s under pressure, doesn’t leak under acceleration either...
Any ideas on that?

Sounds more like things expanding once warmed a bit and then sealing. Gaskets and the water inlet gaskets/seal that the filler neck is a part of would be where I’d be looking.
