So I’ve been having heating issues and decided to bleed the cooling system,.
Manual says to fill up at the coolant reservoir with the yellow cap at the front left of the car which is what I do.
Bc I was bleeding I filled up at the radiator filler near the engine and it took 2 litres before it was full.
In other words filling at the coolant reservoir as per the manual doesn’t seem to get water to the radiator.

Change the radiator cap and continue to monitor it.

Sometimes the top seal on the radiator cap fails and causes an air leak. Coolant will still ‘overflow’ from the radiator to the recovery bottle, but because it doesn’t seal properly, the radiator can’t suck the fluid back.
