Recently with my air con on after a while i can smell coolant coming from the air vent. There is no leak under the car and no apparent loss in levels. I cant spot any leaks with the hood up. What could this be? Theres no puddle on inside car floor either.

It will be the early stages of a leaking heater core.

I'd suggest the chemical flush wasn't the problem. It probably removed some scale or corrosion (in other words doing the job it was intended for) which was plugging a potential hole in the core. The core was going to fail sooner or later at that point or at another point which was corroded.
