Corvette/Camaro/Chevy wheels on commodore?

Howdy has anyone got or tried put on any of the above on there commodore and how did it fit, any help muchly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure some guy in Russia who posted his car on here put some Corvette Snowflakes on his Opel Senator. I think it was a VB-VK era car. Looked pretty good, I'll see if I can find the pictures.

earlier chev stuff is 5x120.7(4.75"), commodore is 5x120. itll fit, but wont do your studs any good.

I've seen a number of mid 80s to mid to late 90s Corvette and camaro and pontiac wheels on Commodores, But I'm not sure how close they are, is a 9" rim to wide for the back of a VB?

youll snap studs bro. the PCD isnt the same and chevy dont use a center locator.

ive seen convo pro's that have had the holes die ground out and bevelled a bit further away, but that lack of a center locator would make my spider senses go mental every time i drove it.

I was told by BCI wheels where they make them, that everything has clearance, and if you use "wobble nuts" you can run Chevy 120.65 wheels if tightened slowly in the correct sequence. he also said the center bore has clearance, so the studs do all the work.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster... Wheel nuts that don't pull the wheel to the centre of the hub, there's no central locator AND they take all of the load? Sure they'll bolt up, but not safely by any stretch of the imagination.

Chevy 5x120.65 vs Holden 5x120 that's only .65 of a mm... His point was there would be that much clearance on a Holden wheel at the center hub anyway, if there was not any clearance you would never get any wheel on or off. I realize wheels are high-speed dangerous things, but there is a beautiful set of corvette wheels I an temped to buy. they do make and sell "wobble nuts" just for that reason...just sayin.

So if they don't centre on the hub or on the wheel nuts/studs, what do they centre on?

.65mm is a considerable amount in this situation.
