I'd comment on something I like, But the tail lights make me vom' a little in my mouth whenever I open your thread. Cheers Mat
noo not 6x9's, you would be much happier in bass response with those holes there but good job on DIY .
Detailed the car today with buffer and polish. removed pretty much all scratches and completely rejuvenated the paint work back into showroom condition!
Came up really good what buff and polish did you use? Did you take your front antenna out for the rear one?
No.2 Kitten Cut & Polish. the buffer was about $80. I still have the front antenna, but I never use it (Ipod always connected) the back antenna is just for bluetooth I think... But anways, to be honest, I wasn't sure how the results would turn out. I had A LOT of sun damage on the boot, and especially the roof, millions of scratches and swirl marks. But this only took just over an hour, and the results are just stunning. Truly worth doing it.. I'll upload some before and after pics so you guys can have a look..
Before and after shot. Picture shows a small patch on the roof already polished and buffed, all the rest was untouched.. Just goes to show the difference this all had on the paint finish.. Before and after shot. In this picture you can clearly see how badly scratched the roof was, and in the far right corner you can see where we started to buff and polish.
