could be major probelm

hey all

I was playing the grass. you know a couple of donuts and standstills, and now my car seems to wobble side to side at about 30ks but anywhere after that it's fine.


what could it be???

my car did that, ended up being a bent axle + bent rim lol. only found out i bent my axle coz when i changed the rim over with the spare, there was a horrid squeaking every rotation. went down the wreckers and got a new axle put in for $100, easy fixed. hope its nothing more than that mate.

and i forgot to add that i was hitting speed bumps at about say 60 ks that wouldn't help much more would it

go get your wheels balanced to start with. but ide say its a front end thing. if you were hitting speed bumps at speed

but it don't seem to wobble in the steering wheel just the rear end of the car

maybe warped rotors?? or maybe loose wheel nuts??

Check your wheel nuts but I don't think that's your problem, rotors warped enough to shudder under acceleration would be VERY obvious under braking, so most likely not the problem either. If you were playing on grass, check to see if you've got any mud and crap inside your rims, that can unbalance them.

sorry bout the late reply, axle's are fairly cheap, got mine put in for like $100. my car did the same thing when it had a bent axle/rim, going at about 20km/h the back right hand side of the car would flick out every rotation, not enough to notice from outside the car but enough to feel it in the steering wheel and through the seat

hey all thanks for the help

but i don't seem to feel it in the steering and i looked under the car the sarvo and the axle looks straight.. so could it be a loose tailshaft??? like a loose uni??
