Can a key for a VE SS Commodore with an aftermarket remote start installed be programmed to a VF 5 button key?

ATM, I have to press lock, unlock and lock to start it. Was wandering if that process could be programmed to the start button on the VF key.

Highly doubt it, that would be some kind of custom setup in the key and would probably require some kind of extra canbus/BCM wiring and reprogramming. And even so, that probably wouldn't actually fix this issue (you're trying to treat a symptom with this, not fix a problem). The process you describe to start your car isn't the norm, something else is wrong. Either there's an issue between the car and the transponder or it's some parameter that might be able to be changed with a Tech2.

For the effort you would put into getting this solution to work you'd put less in to just fixing the problem as you would require the same tools to do it anyway.

What problem you talking about?

The remote start module turns on the engine by pressing lock-unlock-lock.

Just thought that 3 step function can be simpler by using the VF remote start button.
