Hello,

I have been hearing a whistle while driving, So i popped the bonnet and saw a large amount of water soaking the firewall of the car. On closer inspection I can see there is a crack in this hose (see pictures). What is it and how much am I looking at to fix it? I am not losing coolant, So I'm guessing it might be a hose to the air vent?

Corrugated black plastic wiring harness conduit. It is made like that so it can be fitted over the harness.

What would be causing my firewall to be soaking wet like it is?

Possible condensation on the air con pipe going into the valve on the firewall.
The Z looking pipe.

Or there could be a break in the rubber which seals the bonnet to the cowl.

You need to track down the whistle just the same.
