   Hi all,
   
   Trying to help out a friend and was wondering if any of you fine folks can help..
   
   Need to know if the crank angle sensor is the same between the VY and VZ LS1 motors..
   
   anyone know? I suppose that short of anyone knowing, I could try getting the part numbers from both and seeing if they are the same..

   VTs2~VZs1 ls1 should be the same, althou iv'e have never seen c.a.s. on an ls1 not that i recall.
   from memory the timing runs from the flywheel. i could be wrong though.
