series 1 or 2 vp? if the vp has the black type one no s1 vn run a white one which is adjustable and has a little metal frame with it.
VP's (i think maybe only series 2) all the ones ive worked on have a full black plastic type one thats is not adjustable

vs commodore V6 S2 and a BA XR6T
you can put a series one (adjustable cas) on a vp (series 2) providing you have the series one balancer to match...did it teh other day with a mates car and it works fine.

but provideing that the CAS is teh adjustable type then yes you can use that on a series one vn

crank angle sensor not engaged

hello, pleeease heeeeelp
i have replaced my crank angle sensor and harmonic balancer but now i dont
get any spark, i have scanned the ecu and it says the crank angle sensor is not engaging,
what do i do, so many wires and plugs to choose from, im gonna set it on fire soon,
oh yeah, its a vs statesman v6 supercharged 1998 series 3,
i got the CAS from sprint auto parts (that could be the problem)
