cast iron i think theyre more likely spherical cast iron rather than nodular defenitely not grey cast i'd say i know blocks are usually grey cast

The order from weakest to strongest is grey, spherical, nodular this refers to amount of graphite content and it's structure within the iron. I'm leaning more towards spherical as most aftermarket are nodular cast (within cast cranks that is) for better strength and reliability.
Obviously a forged crank is the next step up then all out on billet crank

nodular cast iron,good for 8000 rpm correctly balanced with the factory rods/sps.
