    ok so ive got a vr ute on gas/petrol, but ive been running on gas for a few months because my fuel pump died.
    so what hapeened is

    the past 2 weeks it wont start in the cold, but will once running or warmer weather it will start fine. its been having a few bad back fires lately but will fire up again after a few minutes of cranking,and i found the induction hose blown off yesterday which i reconected.
    now it will crank but not fire at all

    -ive looked at vaccum hoses and i think there all connected(the ones ive found).

    -checked coil packs with screwdriver and it makes an orange spark(which i think should be blue)but even still shouldnt it as least try to fire?

    -i had RAC come to check it out and he was pretty useless but found that the lpg connector switch had no power or somthing

    - it has come up with problem codes
    12=system pass
    26= mass air temp sensor unstable voltage
    31= theft deterent signal missing (had immobiliser overiden 6 months ago because of problems)
    45= o2 sensor rich.

    any help?

    cheers

    as long as it cranks, code 31 wont matter. Check wiring (checking for damage or shorts, maybe test voltage if you can) to the mass air temp sensor somewhere in the throttle body and maybe give it a clean with an aerosol you can get specifically for this from auto one. You could just be up for a new sensor though. Its running rich, but I'd say this is from the computer not registering the right air flow readings and injecting way too much petrol to the mix. (could also be the gas rooting the sensor, it does that when you convert it quite often)

    This is what I would do first, not saying it will fix the problem though.. reached the limit of my knowledge.

    I've got similar problem with vt dual fuel, no power to lpg switch valve. Checked fuse in car and no power supply there as should be ignition on..Been checking wiring diagrams in Gregory's manual but I've got wires that don't show up in any diagrams. I'm need to find wiring diagrams for lpg to back track problem, though recon relates to ecu.

    I'm wondering if you found what the problem was and got it going?
