Crankshaft Position sensor P0315 VE V6 3.0 LF1 Help .

VE 2010 V6 International 3.0 litre LF1 .

Had a code P0315 come up on a scan after my car failed to start. 10 minutes later it started after running a bit on the previous attempts.

I have been searching online for a replacement part and rhe prices vary from $22 to $160 . Will this make a difference in the life of the part ?
Has anyone had any experience with buying from eBay?

Also . Crankshaft position sensor and crank angle sensor , are they the same part ?

same thing, get genuine if you are keeping it. cheaper after market ones can be troublesome at times.
