Hi - my VY Berlina LS1 makes a slight noise like a sqeaky / creaky whine when turning the steering wheel at low speed, eg in carpark.
Feels like resistance due to a dry bush in the steering shaft or similar.

Any one else with same issue?

    Thanks

check your power steering fluid first, sounds like it may be low

i have the same issue. I've read somewhere that it has something to do with the pressure in the power steering pipe and if you get a bigger one it will fix it.

I haven't done this but any additional advice would be good.

Thanks guys - the fluid is OK. I have had the tubes done when the car was under guarantee. It really feels like a bush in the column or something is tight.
The manuals show that the whole column gets replaced - it is non-servicable.
