It maybe easier, but sometimes the challenge of creating something is more gratifying that buying something already done
I agree, although it may already be done and easier, the satisfaction that comes from knowing that you yourself can do is pretty hard to beat in my opinion.

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
I hope you put all the LX8 interior in as well to spruce up that VU interior.

You have the donor car so there’s almost everything there.

I hope you don’t need to change those front control arm bushes. I hated those.

If you go back to the start of the thread almost everything is covered off. You’ll need some welding skills to spot weld in part of the transfer case mount to the trans tunnel.

If you've read IJ threads you'll know it's quite involved & he built a few awd versions last of which was bmw after the tonner & vs sedan iirc

The BMW AWD set up is so similar to the Holden one. Give I’ve noticed a few BMW bits on the Holden set up. Clips, transfer case are two. I also suspect those bloody front control arm bushes are BMW as well.

Yeah he made bmw shell fit the driveline...dude has patience & skills.

Vaguely remember one of the builds had to swap tunnel...heavily detailed posts in his threads last heard he was taking a break from forums.

AllPaw CV8 & HSV Coupe4 , Hi Guys, Do you still have the IRS rear end off the Adventra, and if you do would you sell it and for how much. I would like to fit it to my Cross6 Crewman....engineering I know but my engineer mate says it can be done. Cheers Dave. "tannertp21"
