Want to change the oil in the transfer case but cant seem to find out what grade/type to use. Someone suggested Castrol BOT 338 but doesn't seem to be available. What have others used. Thanks

Have a look here ......................https://www.datateck.com.au/Lube/PenriteAus/ ................. Transgear 75W-80 ............... and take into account that the Cross6, early Territory AWD, and BMW X5 all use basically the same transfer case.
I had the transfer case oil changed at 85Km when I bought it, by a 4WD specialist when I found out that the local Holden service centre outsourced all their AWD and 4WD servicing to him. He used the oil as supplied by Holden in a small bottle.
The next service was at 128Km, and he used the Penrite oil, as he could not get the Holden oil.
If in doubt / confused, find a reputable 4WD gearbox and diff specialist.

Edit ........ from Ford owners manual > ‘only Texaco Havoline 1854 Dexron111, 0.5 litres’
