    Okay; So when I got the car the cruise control didnt work, Checked fuses and etc. nothing work; I pulled the indicator stalk apart one day and found the wires had been cut. so after finding that I didnt worry about cruise control. So I actually took out the whole cruise control thing in the engine bay;

    Now I want to put it back and get a new indicator/cruise control stalk and hook it up.
    Is there anyway I could test the actual cruise control module before I go out and buy a indicator stalk.. Id prefer a out of car test because I know of a way to test it but you need the indicator stalk.

    Also what else is a part of the cruise control, just the module, stalk and the brake switch??

    Most likely the stalk, the wires break at the pivot point not uncommon.

    Many different causes to cruise control not working, there have been lots of people with cruise control problems (Including me) who have not been able to figure them out.

    Are you able to get the "CRS" light to come on, and then the green "ON" light to come on aswell?
    If answer is yes to both it is not the stalk.

    Ah fair enough; They seemed cut to me but thanks :) Ill have a look into getting a new stalk
    Hmm; My stalk had no wires.. so no those lights didnt show, Though I never really looked into if the bulbs in the instruments were blown to actually see ( I did have alot of blown bulbs )

    You also need the cruise relay which goes in the fuse panel under the steering wheel.

    There is the Cruise Control Stalk.... The Cruise Control Actuator which is in the engine bay, and also the BCM has a few things to do with it too so there could be a fault in any of those 3, and anywhere between too.

    Ah thanks mate :D hopefully the BCM is fine

    Ive never actually heard of that; But that might explain a empty relay holder there; Would it be with the other relays, or seperate.. ? Im fairly sure my car came with Cruise Control..

    The actual relay location on the panel is shown on the printed fuse/relay location sheet attached to the back of the drop-down panel.

    On the VS this depends on if the BCM is a ligh or low BCM,the high BCM has the cruise relay built in,the low BCM's use a seperate relay for the cruise control.
