Cruise Control Info Wanted

Hi has anyone put cruise control into a vs auto column change and how much is involved its a v6 and i am thinking of getting the genuine stuff for that model second hand is it worth getting genuine or after market thanks bruce

Hey mate, I did with mine. Check to see if the loom is there, should be a plug near the brake switch and a plug inside the square duct on the right side of the engine bay above the air filter.
If they are there (mine's a '99) then you need the cruise stalk, extra brake switch to cancel the cruise. The cruise module and cable to go to the throttle body. Pretty easy to do, if its pre-wired.
