ok afew days ago on my vt my indicator/cruise control stalk **** itself and I purchased a new one all installed ok, today realised that I put cruise on button it lights up on cluster but for some reason the active button once pressed wont light up on cluster I don't think the stalk is faulty cause everything else works ok so what could be the problem here? I did have an abs module problem but don't think this would affect the cruise control motor!

    the 2 things I know:
    1) cruise control will not activate under 40kph,
    2) Brake lights deactivate cruising, so does a blown bulb.

please check your brake lights, as it would suck if a $1.20 bulb caused all this headache.
