What are the symptoms? - does the CRS light up?....or nothing at all.

OK - first thing to check is whether any stoplight bulbs are blown - if so replace them. Next is the brake switch - there are 2 of these - one operates the stoplights and the cruise whilst the other is a backup for the first one (this makes it fail-safe). You need to check if they are adjusted properly. How to do this is best explained by directing you to a post that covers most of the checks you need to do....this will also apply to JSTCOZ. Hope this helps.

The connectors could just be for options not fitted - you really need to locate the 2 switches mounted to the pedal box which are turned on/off when you press the brakes......one of the 2 switches is the CC brake switch and this one can/will get out of adjustment.
Have another look at the link I posted and particularly at markovr's post which has drawings of the switch and adjustment.

another thing to look at if hako's ideas dont fix the problem, is the cruise control stalk itself. i had the same problem with mine and it turned out to be some broken wires in the stalk. its an easy fix if it is,by just re-soldering the broken wires back together.
