For people that use E85 and find it a bit hard to start in the morning,
Just say you have to fill your car up, Put 1/4 tank of E10 in, and the rest, fill it up with E85,
I was running E85 for a while, but had the problem of it reluctant to start in the morning, would turn over, and vibrate a bit, and then fire up.
And I noticed it only happened when I started using E85, so when it got down to about 3/4 tank, I topped it up with E10,
Fixed the starting problem in the morning. ;)

Good point. I should have probably posted it in the VE section.
I think you can use e85 in the L77 in early VFs (2013, 2014).

From 2015 (like mine) they left out the necessary sensor, I guess figuring noone would notice. At 1.79/litre and worse fuel consumption noone was bothering and they saved a few dollars per unit leaving the sensor out.

few tweaks to the startup tune wise will also help alot for ethanol on a cold morning

Although I'm in QLD, I don't get any starting problems on a E85. The car runs really well on it also. BP 98 is by far the roughest starting and idling. Vortex 95 is pretty smooth. But E85 easily trumps both for smoothness and gives a tad more get up and go.

Is it true ethanol fuel can eat the rubbers in the system? I suppose my question did not include fuel system issues including materials and construction of rubbers/lines/diaphragms etc from the tank to the carb ...
