Hey guys, my mate's a mechanic, and he's saying that my custom pod filter could be a cause for my LPG stalling. (Spark plugs have been replaced, but I haven't serviced in a while).

Just wondering your opinion? He's a Ford fanatic, so he could just be biased and whatnot.

IMO no, shouldnt affect things. But if u have a venturi system i spose there is the possibility it could affect it but i wouldnt think so.

Unless the pod is blocked, it won't affect it in the slightest. Get the mixtures redone and it should be good.

Alright, how do I get the mixtures redone? Just get it serviced? Not good with cars.

What type of LPG setup is it? Does the LPG setup have a "balance" line? Ie a line that goes from the back of the converter to the airbox?
If it does, then I'd say your mate could be right, but I'm certainly no LPG expert. I had a Falcon on LPG with this setup that was really touchy on leaks for the balance line, symptoms were massive flat spots when taking off from the lights.

It's dual fuel, no liquid injection. Not sure about this balance line. Just gonna get it serviced and see how it goes from there.

Get the gas serviced and they should adjust the mixtures for you. Seen it done before where they stick a probe up the exhaust pipe and check the levels.
