Hey boys and girls,

I already have a K&N air filter in a stock airbox but i am planning to take out the original intake and replace it with some PVC piping and run that down to underneath my grill to access colder air. Then mesh up the end.

Will this work?

so is the pipe going from under your grill to where ever it is your filter is.
or...
are you connectiong the pipe directly to your throttle body/intake pipe?

yeah sure go for it, as long as you don't get rid of the k&n filter it should be all good.
but as a general rule of thumb the shorter your intake pipe is the better so it would be best to try and keep the pipe as short as possible

good luck with it man, let us know how it works out for you

A few people on here have done similar things, so it does work.
Give them more than 15mins and you will get a few responses

or maybe

wat if i bought those ones that sit above the radiator and hooked that up, then also had the pipe running to my grill?

would that dramatically increase performance?

i wouldn't count on it.
personally i'm buying a mace cold air intake kit
they look great, and i've heard good things about them
and they're probably better performance and cheaper
