custom gauge setup

i dont know what its called but under where the cdplayer goes ive seen a few people installing 2-3 gauges in there

i was wondering what they used?? is it any type of hard plastic ? what kinda glue? etc.. help would be cool :) thankss

i guess anything would work, just what you can get your hands on and my mate did it in his vn a little while ago using checker plate and turned out pretty good

i only have one gauge at the moment but unsure what to get next

vacuum (same as air ratio i guess?)
fuel air ratio
oil temp
oil pressure

i'd go, oil pressure
water temp
and volts

that would be everything you need

ive got volts.. my water temp works very good on my cluster :)

ill post here once ive finished makin my centre console thing.. its allready been cut and crap just need to find a plastic piece lol.

no problem :thumbsup: yeh my stereo has a volts thing on the display so no need for that but ive been wanting to get an oil pressure gauge and vacuum gauge does sound like a good idea, i know they are very useful but just need to learn how to read one properly

yea thats why ive been thinking of the vacuum gauge too.. might show good air readings if its choking or not getting enough..? thats what its for yea? there measured in HG i think it was i have no idea how to read them.. does any else do?

im quite interested in finding out how a guage setup would look in my car too guys, id go with the oil pressure and vaccum gauges too cos in the vr i got the volts and temp alredy, is there any other guages that can be put in there too? and sum1 wudnt have a howto install the above guages wud they? cheers boys
