hey all,

im after something that i can use on my interior like the door trims and the center console, im after a carbon fiber look and i was wondering is there something special that id have to use like a vynle or something to have this done and also where would i get it from.

I've seen advertisements in street machine for this carbon fibre stuff for interiors. Not sure on the costs or anything, but if you have some of the magazines lying around, take a look in those.

Gday Scott,Good 2 see another Vn Commodore going into the custom idea especially a SV89 sounds good.

Here is what i have done to my VN SS Interior :thumbsup:

  1. Leather handbrake boot,red piping "stiching"
  2. Leather Centre Lid,red piping,Subdue Lettering Embroided.
  3. GMH Red hot Enamel Painted Centre Consol
  4. Replaced Roof Lining
  5. Vs Commodore Sun Visors
  6. Fiberglass 6 x 9 's Boxes for Rear Shelf
  7. Vs Commodore Electronic Windows Mechanism
  8. Issotta Evoluzion Grey /Light Grey Sports Steering wheel Leather from Italy
  9. Vs Commodore Door,Pods,Vn ss Material trim,Vinyl sprayed to suit door colour.

i did my door trims in blue vinal.. its good aslong as its not in direct sun light / touched alot which they're not

you can get like carbon fiber stuff.. download S5 EP07 of pimp my ride they do the interior carbon fiber...

you could also use kevlar??

dunno dude most of those expensive materials you wont find at spot light
have to search round for em

yer no worrys guys, thanx for the help ill do some lookin around asnd see what i come up with, i mihgt even do it all in carpet yet i dunno.

Oh and S.U.B.D.U.E, im not doing it to a sv89, id keep that Orig, but im doing it all to my VN BT-1 5 Litre 5 Speed.

I been workin on my interior and trying to fit my cd/dvd player with 7 inch monitor for most of my week and weekend

Thinking of doing door trims white also but worried about keeping them clean as my dash etc has finger marks already

Any other tips or opinions are welcome!

yer im the same, my dad had a vs with custom interior, being white and was a pain in the butt to keep clean as he was a truckie/forklift driver and them two did not mix well, so in the end her sold the car coz he got sick of cleanning the thing lol, but other then that it looked assome.

and hothousevn, ur interior looks a treat, i love it
