Hi guys, before i get attacked for the heading hear me out here!

Just wondering if anyone has cut a hole in their rear firewall of their ute for a sub and done it legally (weld/bolt in support frame and had it mod plated) if this is possible. I don't want to hear about other ways to mount subs in the ute as I've read about them all. Just wondering if this mod is actually legally possible and how you went about it. Thanks!

The other positions are alright and I've tried them. Just looking for something a little different and with a little more boom!

What you are talking about is called a "blow through". I don't believe it can be done legally but I by no means am an engineer.

Might be worthwhile asking ari666, he knows his ins and outs when it comes to the modifications laws.... well... he knows about the ins and outs ;)
